Learn & Collaborate
You will learn Photovoice action research methods to compose powerful, anonymized photos and texts. Then your cohort will work together to analyze these as data, determine themes, and select your most compelling work to create and refine a focus for your equity advocacy.
Fall 2026 Workshops: Saturdays, 9-12

Create
You’ll spend 5-15 minutes a week taking anonymized photographs in and around your school & using your photos to inspire brief written reflections. You and the rest of your cohort will post these in a private Padlet set up as a Listen to Teachers workspace.
Photovoice weeks:
Fall 2026: 7 weeks (9/25-11/6)
Spring 2027: 6 weeks (2/12-3/19)
Spark Change
Your work will be featured in online and in-person exhibits and other methods designed to stimulate change among the public and policymakers.
During spring meetings, you will decide on and engage in additional outreach to share your work with policymakers and the public.
Tentative online exhibit dates: 12/3/26 and 5/6/27
Get Paid
2026-2027 LTT cohort participants who complete all activities will receive a $300 stipend or gift card.
Requirements
2026-2027 Listen to Teachers cohort participants must be:
A woman
Currently employed as a full-time educator at a Delaware public, non-charter school within 30 minutes of Wilmington, DE
Able to demonstrate a long-term commitment to working for anti-racism and equity in schools
Committed to participate in all research activities.
