2026-2027 cohort members will…
Learn & Collaborate
Trainers will equip you with photovoice action research methods to compose powerful, anonymized photos and texts. Then your cohort will work together to analyze these as data, determine themes, and select your most compelling work that tells a story.
Meeting dates: Thursdays, 6-9 PM
Fall: 9/10, 9/24, 10/15, 11/15
Spring: 2/18, 3/18, 4/22, 5/20
Create
You’ll spend 5-15 minutes a week taking photographs in and around your school & using your photos to inspire brief written reflections.
Photo weeks:
10 weeks: 9/20 - 11/29
Spark Change
Your work will be featured in online and in-person exhibits and other methods designed to stimulate change among the public and policymakers.
During spring meetings, you will decide on and create outreach to share your work with others.
Tentative exhibit dates: 12/4 and 5/7
Get Paid
2026-2027 LTT cohort participants who complete all activities will receive a $300 stipend or gift card.
Requirements
2025-2026 LTT cohort participants must be:
A woman
Currently employed as a full-time educator at a Delaware public, non-charter school within 30 minutes of Wilmington, DE
Able to demonstrate a long-term commitment to working for anti-racism and equity in schools
Committed to participate in all research activities.
